This is the website of Bedrock. It collects as little as it can function on. This page states what that little is, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name as it appears in your message, and whatever you write. Our host records standard server logs for every visit, including IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, and the time of the request. We set no cookies and run no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site.

Why we collect it

We use what you send us to answer you and to keep a record of the correspondence. We use server logs to keep the site available and to defend it against abuse. We do not build profiles, we do not target advertising, and we do not use your data to train models.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf, and our email provider processes messages you send us. Both act on our instructions and for no other purpose. We disclose data beyond this only when the law requires it, and we never sell it.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as the relationship it belongs to is live, and for three years after it ends. Server logs are kept for thirty days.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in portable form, or to complain to your data protection authority. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within thirty days. We do not charge for this.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the effective date above and publish the new version here. Material changes will be announced on this site.
